I designed the deluxe books of all seven Sin City titles. Dark Horse has published these books many times, and we wanted a deluxe set of books that really stood apart from the other editions. There are seven letters in Sin City, and if you put all seven slipcases for the books together they spell out Sin City. I pitched the spelling idea to Frank Miller’s team, and they loved it. I designed all seven books over the course of a year with different textures pulled from the art, a different foiled quote on each book, and of course a different letter on the front of each cloth slipcase.
